1. We found your motorcycle good luck charm. Apparently you swallowed it in the impact of the crash.

2. We didn’t find what’s causing your pain but we did find out why that leg is bent that way.

3. Sure, you can live with the pain. But the pain killers you take will eat out your stomach lining and destroy your liver.

4. Side effects? Just the standard fifty for this kind of drug. It’s actually hard to figure out how they ever got FDA approval.

5. This prescription isn’t covered by your health insurance and runs about $500 for twelve days.

6. You’ll be needing to take this medication for the next six months.

7. That’s not just a fracture. That’s the Taj Mahal of fractures.

8. We could try to be positive here, but you’d quickly see through that.

9. This is one of those half empty glass situations.

10. Have you considered not riding ever again?

Here are ten more useful tips of advice from a motorcycle accident lawyer to follow if you have been in an accident. You can also learn more about how to handle a motorcycle accident in the Inland Empire, or any city, by calling the Law Offices of R. Sebastian Gibson at any of the numbers which can be found on our website at http://www.SebastianGibsonLaw.com and learning how we can assist you.

Obviously, if you have had an accident, and you are reading all of this advice, it’s probably been at least a few days since the accident. However, if it’s only been a few hours or if you ever have another accident, here’s what you should do the next time from the start.

First, take a look around and determine if you or anyone, are hurt. If so, taking steps like trying to prevent further injury or loss of blood are the most important thing you can do. Even if some other driver caused you to be injured, it’s just good manners to help the other driver if they are hurt. They may even be so thankful that they admit their fault to you. The worst thing you can do is get angry or start a fight.

Second, make sure everyone is safe from being injured further. If you are in the middle of traffic, and you are dizzy, sit down away from traffic. If your vehicle is a traffic hazard and you have accident warning devices like flares or triangles, put them out on the road to warn other drivers and get away from the car. Let the police an other emergency personnel investigate the scene with the vehicles in place and move them more safely at a later point.

Third, call the police. Accident reports are extremely helpful if the police will do such a report. Let the police know you are injured immediately. Answer the police questions honestly. But if you are dazed or confused, let them know you need medical treatment and answer only what you feel sure about. Remember, your statements can and will be used against you if you admit fault, and it will be too late and too fishy to later say you didn’t know what you were saying at the scene. Police know that your best recollection is immediately after an accident.

Fourth, get the other driver’s information including their names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, make and model of their vehicles, license plate numbers, and their insurance company name and policy number. If there are witnesses, get their names, addresses and telephone numbers as well. If the other driver makes any admissions of fault, write those down as well.

Fifth, if you have a camera on your cell phone or in the car and you aren’t too injured, take some photos of the vehicles and the scene. If you can’t do it right away, do it after you are released from the hospital.

Sixth, if you are hurt, obtain medical treatment. Don’t decline the ambulance or hospital examination to save your insurance company money or to be stoic. Take your valuables out of your car if you can and get checked out at the hospital. If you are not hurt, don’t get treatment you don’t need. However, remember, after an accident, you may feel a rush of adrenaline that causes you to only start feeling symptoms of pain a few hours later. If you have a health plan that requires you to obtain permission first, call them and find out where you are allowed to seek treatment.

Seventh, call a good motorcycle accident lawyer as soon as you have had your initial treatment, so the attorney can gather other important evidence and prevent the insurance company from taking advantage of you and obtaining such things as recorded statements that you feel fine, when many of your symptoms have yet to manifest themselves. A good motorcycle accident lawyer can save you from making a great deal of mistakes and can shoulder much of the hassle of knowing what to do about car repairs, car rentals, medical treatment, witness statements and the like. If you think you will save money by not having an attorney, think again. A good motorcycle accident lawyer can almost always obtain much higher settlements, obtain reductions of medical bills and insurance liens and prevent you from making costly mistakes. Also, most motorcycle accident attorneys advance costs of obtaining police reports, medical records and the like and are paid and reimbursed for these costs only out of any settlement.

Eight, you will need to report the accident to your insurance company, but since they will want to take a recorded statement from you, just like any other driver’s insurance company, it’s good advice to retain an attorney first. And if the other driver did not have insurance, remember that it is your own insurance company that will be your adversary. You will also need to report the accident to the Department of Motor Vehicles and your lawyer can give you the form for this.

Ninth, do not agree to settle your claim privately with the person at fault for the accident. This almost never works out to your advantage. Don’t agree not to call the police. Police reports that determine the fault for an accident are golden. Your agreement to not involve the police only affords an opportunity for the other driver to change his story and blame you when the police will no longer investigate the accident.

Tenth, don’t pay a traffic ticket without a fight if you weren’t at fault or agree to accept a small payment for your vehicle repairs without knowing that the amount will in fact cover the cost of all the repairs.

If you want speed in your life then go for sports bikes. However, not only these bikes are known for speed but also for excellent acceleration, maneuverability and deceleration. Before you go and buy a sports bike here are some things that you should know about these bikes.

Salient features of sports bikes

In sports bikes you get a powerful engine for helping you drive faster and a light body which is easy to control
The braking system of the sports bikes have both brake pads and multi-piston calipers and each are clamped into rotors
Advanced adjustment system and materials are found in suspension so that both stability and durability can be achieved
The tiers in front and rear are larger and wider than the other motorcycles so that you can get more speed and good angles.
If fairings are used in sports bikes then they are shaped in such a manner that the aerodynamic drag is reduced to a large extent

There are various types of sports bikes available in the market and these are:

Entry level: These are for those who want to practice before riding on an excellent sports bike. These are inexpensive bikes and are also lightweight and durable. The engines are made in such a way that they offer you both longevity and durability. The best part of these bikes is they are perfect for riders of any height and weight.
Small capacity: The engines of these bikes range between 125 cc to 400 cc and are available as both 2 strokes and 4 strokes cycles. They are ideal for the riders with short statures and with light weight. These bikes also have short wheelbase and lightweight thus making the handling easier and similar to the high capacity sports bikes
Hyper sport: Those of you who prefer bikes with high speed acceleration for them these bikes are ideal. The motors that you would find in these bikes range between 1000 cc and 1400 cc. These are heavier than the super bikes and therefore provide excellent stability
Super bikes: These bikes are made for those who want to compete in bike racing. These bikes have larger engines ranging between 800 cc to 1200 cc.
Super sport bikes: These bikes are also built keeping in mind the need of the racers. The power of the engines range between 600 cc to 800 cc.
Sport touring: If you want to go for long rides then you should opt for sport touring bikes. Though these bikes are less powerful and heavier in comparison with the other sports bikes, they are preferred because of the comfort that they offer. They offer storage facility and make you feel comfortable while riding.

What would happen if you suddenly needed major surgery? How would your Internet business from home survive? Now if you are a seasoned and already successful internet marketer making a good living on auto-pilot, you probably would not be as concerned if you had to limit your involvement for a few weeks while you recover. Major surgery requires anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks recovery which does not include any required physical therapy.

If you are not yet making that great income allowing you to quit your day J.O.B., it probably means your business is still in those critical growing and nurturing stages. You have been working hard writing articles, making directory submissions, working on back-links, social networking and everything else required on a daily basis to build a successful internet business.

All of a sudden, you need surgery, right in the midst of all this hard and critical work. Worse yet, you are going to be laid up for 12 weeks with surgery and rehabilitation on your dominant shoulder. Your family has no clue what it will take to step into your shoes and carry on with your internet business from home. Your wife can barely check her e-mail and the kids see this as an opportunity to catch up on their computer video games now that dad is not hogging the computer.

It is important that you prepare your business from home for such a devastating event. You must have a plan to keep a minimal amount of activity progressing on your internet business from home. Inactivity is the greatest danger facing you internet business. From experience, you can drop 30 positions in Google for every week your business lays dormant. You need new content regularly, even if it is not the quality material you are usually preparing when you are healthy.

Write extra articles and put them in an emergency folder for just such experiences. Subscribe to a PLR Listing to copy, edit and submit articles as your own. It may not be the quality you are used to, but anything is better than nothing at all. Teach your wife and even your older children how to use some of the simple submission tools, like Directory Submitter and some of the key article submitter sites. You already have them programmed and set up, it is just a matter of teaching them a few clicks.

Blogging is another area of keeping activity alive. You can easily teach someone how to copy/paste content to your blog. Commenting on other people’s blogs can be accomplished with free blog commenting tools which provides valuable back-links. Directory Submitters have to be the simplest way to build back-links, except maybe a back-link subscription on auto-pilot.

These are just a few ways you can keep your internet business from home active while you recover from major surgery or any other catastrophic event happening in your life. The important thing is to plan ahead and make preparations should such a need arise.

If you are a sports lover or if you are a regular viewer of the program entitled ‘World’s Craziest Passions’ that is telecast on Discovery Channel, you must have some knowledge of what dirt-bikes actually are. You might have seen videos of little children riding these vehicles and speeding them up and down hilly roads.

Since late 190s these have been the blazing trails. But as a new form of sport, they required a new getup to serve that purpose. The mini dirt bikes grew and developed in power and size over the years. These mini dirt bikes introduced many children to the art of riding.

These little vehicles can also be referred to as pit bikes or mini-motos. They are only the scaled-down versions of the main full-size off-road motorcycles that you get to see. These vehicles are powered by a 2- or 4- stroke carburetors having displacements which range from 50cc to 110cc. Although these mini vehicles are designed mainly for the young riders, their power and performance are comparable to the bigger bikes. Most of the time, these little vehicles come equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, semi as well as fully automatic transmission models are available, just to speed up a child’s learning curve. The brake system is accomplished with a hydraulic by hydraulic disc-brake systems for the front and the rear wheel. Some mini dirt bikes have special features to prevent injuries due to accidents.

Mini dirt bikes were developed since the early 1960s. The first smaller trial models like CT100 Trail50 were the ones launched by Honda. This was a small motorcycle that was powered by a 49cc OHV 4-stroke motor. But many of today’s recent manufacturers are bringing up smaller ones in their own particular line-up. Honda’s CRF50 and Yamaha’s TTR50 are the best examples that can be cited. Those manufacturers who are specialized in manufacturing the small vehicles as of Thumpstar and SDG, have already enrolled themselves into the competition by bringing up those models which have a comparatively newer and of course high performance set-up.

These little vehicles are mainly seen in Motocross competitive events all over the world and they even have youth-level races. These mini dirt bikes have grabbed the attention of the big manufacturers and have been successful enough to shift their focus from the machines that they previously manufactured for entry-level riders. Although these are lightweight vehicles, they are perfectly suitable for mini racers all over the world. So, charge yourselves up for the next biking rally!
